Usually, I reveal quite a lot about my books as I start writing them; what inspired me to write it, what it will be about, as well as a little experience of the horrors to come with a short extract or blurb. This time, though, I’ll be revealing only minor details, because this is the sequel to ‘BITE’ (my first novel), and I intend for it to set up a trilogy.
Just as ‘BITE’ was based on my experiences in high school, ‘BITES’ will progress to a college setting – and yes, a lot of the characters and storylines will be somewhat based around my time at college.
In ‘BITE’, we met teenage schoolboy Kevin Baxter and journeyed with him in his final years at high school as he struggled with friendship, love and becoming a werewolf (you know, the average experiences for a teenage boy!). This time, we will meet Kieran Bates as he starts his time at college, and goes through many similar experiences to Kevin Baxter.
